A Guiding Light was created from a simple, heartfelt mission: to walk beside those on the path of recovery and offer tools that bring clarity, connection, and hope.

My name is Dale P., and after decades of working the 12 Steps and supporting others in recovery, I returned to the town where I grew up—ready to give back in a new way. Combining my experience in technology with the lessons I’ve learned in recovery, I began writing workbooks that speak directly to the heart of the journey: honest, personal, and practical.

What makes these resources different? They’re not written from a distance or in clinical language. Each workbook and journal is created with care, drawing from real conversations, real struggles, and real growth. They’re designed to be accessible, down-to-earth, and spiritually grounded—whether you're new to recovery, revisiting the steps, or supporting someone who is.

This work is my way of practicing the 12th Step—carrying the message and offering guidance to those still finding their way.
